BIDITPRO REFUND POLICY
Effective Date: December 2, 2025
OVERVIEW
This Refund Policy explains when and how Contractors may receive refunds for Connection Fees paid on the BidItPro platform. Homeowners use BidItPro completely free of charge and are not subject to this policy. BiditPro LLC ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to fair treatment of all users. We have established clear guidelines for refund eligibility to protect both Contractors and homeowners.
CONNECTION FEE EXPLAINED
When a homeowner accepts a Contractor's bid, the Contractor is charged a one-time $5.00 Connection Fee. This fee:

Unlocks direct messaging between the Contractor and homeowner

Provides access to the homeowner's contact information

Allows coordination to complete the service

Supports platform operations and maintenance Important: Homeowners are never charged any fees to use BidItPro. The Connection Fee is paid solely by the Contractor whose bid is accepted.
REFUND ELIGIBILITY
Contractors may be eligible for a full refund of the Connection Fee in the following situations:
Homeowner Cancellation
If the homeowner cancels the job before any service work has begun, the Contractor is entitled to a full refund of the Connection Fee.
Homeowner Non-Response
If the homeowner does not respond to any messages within 48 hours after the Connection Fee is paid, the Contractor may request a refund. The 48-hour period begins when the Contractor sends their first message after payment.
Technical Issues
If a technical malfunction on our Platform prevented the connection from functioning properly (e.g., messages not delivered, contact information not accessible), the Contractor is entitled to a full refund.
Duplicate Charges
If a Contractor is accidentally charged multiple times for the same job acceptance, all duplicate charges will be refunded.
Fraudulent Job Posts
If a job post is determined to be fraudulent, fake, or created in bad faith by the homeowner, the Contractor will receive a full refund.
NON-REFUNDABLE SITUATIONS
Connection Fees are NOT refundable in the following situations:
Contractor Cancellation
If the Contractor cancels the job, fails to show up, or chooses not to complete the service after paying the Connection Fee, no refund will be issued.
Service Completed
Once the service has been performed, the Connection Fee is non-refundable regardless of any disputes about service quality or payment between the parties. BidItPro is not involved in service delivery or payment for services.
Policy Violations
If the Contractor violates BidItPro's Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, or any other platform policies, the Connection Fee is forfeited and no refund will be issued.
Pricing Disputes
If the Contractor and homeowner cannot agree on final pricing after connecting, this is not grounds for a refund. Contractors should ensure their bids are accurate before submission.
Change of Mind
If the Contractor simply changes their mind about wanting the job after paying the Connection Fee, no refund will be issued.
Scope Changes
If the homeowner's actual service needs differ from the original job post (within reason), this is not grounds for a refund. Contractors should clarify details before accepting.
HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND
To request a refund, Contractors must:

REFUND PROCESSING
Review Timeline
We will review refund requests within 3-5 business days. Complex cases may require additional time for investigation.
Refund Method
Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method used for the Connection Fee. Refunds are processed through Stripe.
Processing Time
Once approved, refunds typically appear within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Notification
You will receive an email notification when your refund request is approved or denied, including the reason for the decision.
AUTOMATIC REFUNDS
In some cases, refunds may be issued automatically without a request:

System-detected technical failures that prevented connection

Homeowner account termination for fraud or policy violations

Duplicate charges detected by our payment system
DISPUTES AND APPEALS
If your refund request is denied and you believe the decision was incorrect, you may appeal within 7 days of the denial by emailing support@biditpro.com with subject line "Refund Appeal" and providing additional information or documentation supporting your case. Appeals will be reviewed by a senior team member, and a final decision will be provided within 5 business days. Appeal decisions are final.
SERVICE PAYMENT DISPUTES
Important: BidItPro does not process, hold, or guarantee payment for services rendered between homeowners and Contractors. The Connection Fee is separate from service payment. Disputes about payment for actual services must be resolved directly between the homeowner and Contractor. BidItPro cannot mediate these disputes or issue refunds for service payments.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on the Platform with an updated effective date. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
