1. OVERVIEW

This Refund Policy explains when and how Contractors may receive refunds or account credits for bid credit purchases and subscription payments made on the BidItPro platform. Homeowners use BidItPro completely free of charge and are not subject to this policy.

BiditPro LLC ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to fair treatment of all users. We have established clear guidelines for refund eligibility to protect both Contractors and homeowners.

2. BID CREDIT AND SUBSCRIPTION SYSTEM EXPLAINED

BidItPro uses a bid credit system for Contractors. Bid credits are deducted when a Contractor submits a bid on a job. Contractors obtain bid credits through the following methods:

  • Free Tier: A limited allocation of bid credits provided to newly approved Contractors at no cost.
  • Bid Packs: One-time purchases of bid credit bundles in various sizes.
  • Subscription Plans: Monthly plans (Plus at $29/month, Elite at $79/month, or Diamond at $99/month) that provide unlimited bidding on covered service categories and standard bid credit accrual.

Important: Homeowners are never charged any fees to use BidItPro.

3. BID CREDIT REFUND ELIGIBILITY

3.1 Technical Failures

If a verified technical malfunction on our Platform caused bid credits to be deducted without the bid being properly submitted or delivered, the Contractor is entitled to a full restoration of the affected credits.

3.2 Duplicate Deductions

If bid credits are accidentally deducted multiple times for a single bid submission due to a system error, all duplicate deductions will be restored.

3.3 Fraudulent Job Posts

If a job post is determined to be fraudulent, fake, or created in bad faith by the homeowner, Contractors who submitted bids on that job will receive a full restoration of the bid credits used.

3.4 Job Canceled Before Any Bids Reviewed

If a homeowner cancels a job before reviewing any submitted bids, bid credits used to bid on that job may be restored at BidItPro's discretion.

4. BID PACK PURCHASE REFUNDS

4.1 Unused Bid Packs

Bid Pack purchases may be refunded within 14 days of purchase, provided that no bid credits from the purchased pack have been used. Once any credits from a Bid Pack have been used, the purchase is non-refundable.

4.2 Duplicate Purchases

If a Contractor is accidentally charged for duplicate Bid Pack purchases due to a system error, the duplicate charge will be refunded in full.

5. SUBSCRIPTION REFUND ELIGIBILITY

5.1 Billing Errors

If you are charged for a subscription you did not authorize, or if a billing error results in an incorrect charge, you are entitled to a full refund of the erroneous amount.

5.2 Service Unavailability

If a technical issue on our Platform prevented you from accessing your subscription benefits (such as unlimited bidding on covered services) for a material portion of a billing cycle, you may be eligible for a pro-rata refund or account credit for the affected period.

5.3 Voluntary Cancellation

When you cancel a subscription, your subscription benefits remain active through the end of the current billing period. No partial-month refunds are issued for voluntary cancellations. You may continue to use your unlimited bidding benefits until the billing period ends.

5.4 Downgrades

If you downgrade from a higher-tier subscription to a lower tier, the change takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle. No refund is issued for the difference in the current billing period.

6. NON-REFUNDABLE SITUATIONS

The following are NOT eligible for refunds or credit restoration:

6.1 Used Bid Credits

Bid credits that were successfully used to submit a bid are non-refundable, regardless of whether the bid was accepted or declined by the homeowner.

6.2 Free Tier Credits

Credits provided through the Free Tier are complimentary and carry no monetary value for refund purposes.

6.3 Earned Credits

Bonus credits earned through reviews, job completions, or tenure milestones carry no monetary value and are not refundable.

6.4 Policy Violations

If the Contractor violates BidItPro's Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, or any other platform policies, all bid credits and subscription benefits are forfeited and no refund will be issued.

6.5 Change of Mind

If a Contractor submits a bid and subsequently decides they no longer want the job, the bid credits used are non-refundable.

6.6 Expired Credits

If bid credits expire due to account inactivity or other terms, no refund is issued.

7. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND

To request a refund or credit restoration, Contractors must:

Step 1: Submit a request within 14 days of the charge or credit deduction in question.

Step 2: Use one of the following methods:

  • In-App: Go to Account > Payment History > Select Transaction > Request Refund
  • Email: Send request to support@bidit.pro with subject line "Refund Request"

Step 3: Include the following information:

  • Your account email or phone number
  • Description of the issue (transaction ID, job ID, or bid details)
  • Date of charge or credit deduction
  • Reason for refund request
  • Any supporting documentation or screenshots

8. REFUND PROCESSING

8.1 Review Timeline

We will review refund requests within 3-5 business days. Complex cases may require additional time for investigation.

8.2 Refund Method

Approved monetary refunds (for Bid Pack purchases or subscription charges) will be credited to the original payment method through Stripe. Bid credit restorations will be applied directly to the Contractor's bid credit balance on the Platform.

8.3 Processing Time

Once approved, monetary refunds typically appear within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. Bid credit restorations are applied immediately upon approval.

8.4 Notification

You will receive an email notification when your refund or credit restoration request is approved or denied, including the reason for the decision.

9. AUTOMATIC CREDIT RESTORATIONS

In some cases, bid credits may be restored automatically without a request:

  • System-detected technical failures that prevented bid delivery
  • Homeowner account termination for fraud or policy violations (credits restored for bids on that homeowner's jobs)
  • Duplicate deductions detected by our billing system

10. DISPUTES AND APPEALS

If your refund request is denied and you believe the decision was incorrect, you may appeal within 7 days of the denial by emailing support@bidit.pro with subject line "Refund Appeal" and providing additional information or documentation supporting your case.

Appeals will be reviewed by a senior team member, and a final decision will be provided within 5 business days. Appeal decisions are final.

11. SERVICE PAYMENT DISPUTES

Important: BidItPro does not process, hold, or guarantee payment for services rendered between homeowners and Contractors. Bid credits and subscription fees are separate from service payment.

Disputes about payment for actual services must be resolved directly between the homeowner and Contractor. BidItPro cannot mediate these disputes or issue refunds for service payments.

12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on the Platform with an updated effective date. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
