BidItPro Acceptable Use Policy
BIDITPRO ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
Effective Date: April 2, 2026
1. PURPOSE
This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") outlines the rules and guidelines for using the BidItPro platform. All users -- homeowners and Contractors -- must comply with this Policy. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.
2. GENERAL CONDUCT STANDARDS
All users must: treat others with respect and professionalism; provide accurate and truthful information; communicate honestly and in good faith; comply with all applicable laws; and use the platform only for its intended purpose.
3. PROHIBITED CONTENT
You may not post or transmit content that: is false, misleading, or deceptive; is defamatory, threatening, or harassing; infringes intellectual property rights; contains malware or harmful code; is sexually explicit or obscene; promotes illegal activities; or contains personal information of others without consent.
4. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
4.1 Platform Circumvention
Attempting to circumvent or abuse the bid credit system -- including creating multiple accounts to obtain additional free credits, using automated tools to submit bids, sharing contact information during the bidding process to avoid using bid credits, or directing users off-platform to bypass the bidding process -- is strictly prohibited.
4.2 Fraud and Misrepresentation
Creating fake accounts, posting fraudulent jobs, submitting false bids, manipulating reviews, or misrepresenting qualifications is prohibited.
4.3 Harassment and Discrimination
Harassing, threatening, stalking, or discriminating against any user based on race, gender, religion, national origin, disability, or any protected characteristic is prohibited.
4.4 Safety Violations
Performing services in an unsafe manner, working while impaired, or creating dangerous conditions is prohibited.
4.5 System Abuse
Attempting to hack, overload, or interfere with platform operations; scraping data; or circumventing security measures is prohibited.
5. HOMEOWNER-SPECIFIC RULES
Homeowners must: post accurate job descriptions and photos; respond to Contractor messages in a timely manner; not cancel jobs repeatedly without cause; provide safe access to work areas; and treat Contractors professionally.
6. CONTRACTOR-SPECIFIC RULES
Contractors must: submit accurate bids they can honor; respond to job acceptances within 48 hours; complete accepted jobs professionally; not solicit homeowners for off-platform work; and not abuse the bid credit system or subscription benefits.
7. COMMUNICATION GUIDELINES
All communications should be: professional and courteous; relevant to the job or service; free of spam or solicitations; and compliant with the PII filtering system during the bidding process.
8. REPORTING VIOLATIONS
If you encounter a violation of this Policy, please report it through: the in-app reporting feature; email to support@bidit.pro; or the "Report User" option on any profile. Include as much detail as possible, including screenshots if available.
9. ENFORCEMENT AND CONSEQUENCES
Violations may result in: warning notifications; temporary suspension; permanent account termination; forfeiture of remaining bid credits and subscription benefits; reporting to law enforcement (for illegal activity); and legal action for damages. The severity of consequences depends on the nature and frequency of violations.
10. APPEALS
If you believe enforcement action was taken in error, you may appeal by emailing support@bidit.pro within 14 days. Include your account information and explanation. Appeals are reviewed within 7 business days. Decisions on appeals are final.
11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on the Platform with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
